2023-2024 Georgia Water Essay Contest

Congratulations to our 2023 Middle School Georgia Water Essay Contest winner. More than 700 students explored the river basins in their own communities, highlighting their historical, cultural, and geographical significance. The 2023 school, local system, and statewide runner-up is Chloe-Blessing Minor, a 6th grade scholar at Memorial Middle School, Rockdale County. As a result of her writing success, Chloe was able to read her essay at the Georgia State Capitol and she received a monetary award.
